Bio

I am a health care executive with experience in both managed care pharmacy and overall health plan operations. A licensed pharmacist in both Florida and Georgia, I earned a Bachelor of Science in Pharmacy from the University of Georgia, Master of Science in Pharmacy Regulation and Policy from the University of Florida, and Master of Business Administration from Stetson University. I have been with Centene Corporation since July 2006, beginning my career in pharmacy operations at Peach State Health Plan in Georgia. From 2012 to 2014, I led the pharmacy programs for both Peach State Health Plan and Absolute Total Care in South Carolina. In February 2015, I took a full-time position as Vice President of Operations at Absolute Total Care, where my responsibilities included the management of claims system configuration and payment, provider data management, credentialing, and provider and member call centers. I joined Sunshine Health in July 2017 as Vice President of Pharmacy Operations and went on to lead both pharmacy and operations teams in 2019. In September 2019, I joined Envolve Pharmacy Solutions (now part of Centene Corporation) as Vice President of Health Plan Pharmacy Strategy, where I am responsible for the strategic planning and oversight, operational performance, and process improvement for the pharmacy programs of the Centene Health Plans.
I am an active member of the Academy of Managed Care Pharmacists (AMCP) and was a member of the Georgia AMCP affiliate while living and working in Georgia. As part of my work with Georgia AMCP, I served as chair of the legislative committee and also created and presented continuing education programs at the Georgia AMCP Winter Symposium for two consecutive years. I am a founding member of the Florida AMCP affiliate and currently serve as the President Elect of that affiliate.
I am a founding member of Chief Miami. Chief is an organization created to drive more women into positions of power and keep them there. It is the only organization specifically designed for women at the highest levels - VPs through C-level executives - to expand their power, cultivate lasting relationships, and sharpen executive skills.
During my time away from work, I enjoy painting, singing, and spending time with family and friends.
