Alex Kilgore, PharmD, is a Health Outcomes and Market Access Fellow at Xcenda. In this role, he supports both scientific and commercial consulting engagements that help manufacturers prove the clinical and economic value of their most innovative products, with the goal of providing patients access to life-changing therapies. His work includes comparative effectiveness research, outcomes research strategy, economic models, product value dossiers, market research, payer value propositions, and brand/market access strategy.
Before joining Xcenda, Dr. Kilgore gained experience in a variety of healthcare settings, including medical affairs within the biopharmaceutical sector, clinical pharmacy, drug utilization and formulary support within an integrated delivery network, and research and development within consumer life sciences. Dr. Kilgore also has over 3 years of regional and national involvement with AMCP, in addition to presenting scientific posters at AMCP conferences.
Dr. Kilgore received his Doctor of Pharmacy from Mercer University, where he was a recipient of the Merck Academic Excellence Award. His is currently pursuing a Master of Science degree in Pharmaceutical Outcomes and Policy, with an emphasis in Applied Pharmacoeconomics, from the University of Florida.
